Who Are My Clients?

My clients are typically retired or actively planning for their retirement. They are normally seeking advice for one of three reasons:

  • There has been a big event in their lives such as a redundancy or a decision to retire or because of a substantial inheritance. OR
  • They have been receiving poor advice or biased advice from their current adviser and are on the look out for a second opinion. OR
  • They get such a strong referral from one of my clients that they decide to get in contact with me.

All of my clients are different, however they tend to share a few things in common.

  • They want to be financially independent for the rest of their lives. They do not want to be at risk of running out of money.
  • They want their money invested in a safe and secure way to guarantee a successful retirement and to ensure that their savings are protected.
  • They want to take advantage of the rules, especially in retirement. This could mean paying less tax and gaining benefits they are entitled to.
  • They want an adviser who cares about them and their families.
  • They want an adviser who is easily accessible so that any questions they have can be answered promptly.
  • They want an adviser who speaks to them in plain English and who can explain things well so that they understand the advice and can make informed decisions.
