The key steps to become a client are:
Step 1: The first step is to have a brief telephone conversation. The aim is for both of us to ask some initial questions to see if we would both like to meet.
If we both think that a meeting is worthwhile, we can make a time. I have access to a range of different office locations in Sydney. I find that Skype or Apple's 'Face time' work quite well for long distance meetings. I normally charge a fee of $200 (+gst) for this initial meeting, like most professional's do.
Step 2: The aim is to ask a lot of good quality questions to see if there is a good basis for us to work together (ie do we like each other and can I help you a lot?).
Step 3: You can then decide if you would like me to give you a quote to do some specific work for you. If so, we are off and running!

As at March 2019, Michael's business is effectively full. He may take on a new client from time to time, but is not taking steps to grow his business.
Michael believes that he is looking after around one third of the normal levels managed by advisers within most major institutions. Michael has experienced the difficulty of managing a large client base before, as he was responsible for just over 220 client relationships by the end of his previous role.
